Biography
Kevin J. Greene (born July 31, 1962) is a former professional American football player who had a distinguished career as a linebacker and defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the fifth round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, where he quickly established himself as a formidable pass rusher. Greene played a pivotal role in the Rams' defense during his tenure from 1985 to 1990, earning three Pro Bowl selections and being named a First-Team All-Pro in 1990.
Following his time with the Rams, Greene continued his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1993 to 1995, further solidifying his reputation as one of the league's elite defensive players. He was instrumental in helping the Steelers reach Super Bowl XXX, and he earned another Pro Bowl selection in 1994. Greene concluded his NFL career with the Carolina Panthers, where he played from 1996 to 1999, achieving additional accolades and setting franchise records for sacks.
