Biography
Kris Richard, born on October 28, 1978, is a former NFL cornerback and current coach from the United States. He played college football at the University of Southern California, where he was known for his aggressive style and strong performance in the secondary. In 2002, he was selected in the third round of the NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
During his professional playing career, Richard also played for the San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys. He notably recorded a total of 97 tackles and 5 interceptions throughout his tenure in the league, showcasing his abilities as a dependable defensive back. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching, where he utilized his extensive knowledge of the game to mentor aspiring athletes.
Richard made significant contributions to the coaching ranks, particularly during his tenure as the defensive backs coach for the Seattle Seahawks, where he helped lead the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2014.
