Krishnamachari Srikkanth, born on December 21, 1959, in West Tambaram, Chennai, India, is a former Indian cricketer and notable cricket commentator. A right-handed opening batsman, Srikkanth made his debut for the Indian national team in 1981 and was known for his aggressive batting style and ability to score quickly. He played a pivotal role in India’s successful campaign in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, contributing significantly to the team’s historic victory.
Throughout his cricketing career, Srikkanth earned acclaim for his performance in One Day Internationals (ODIs), where he scored over 6,000 runs and was part of numerous memorable innings.
