Krishnaraj Srinath, born on November 23, 1969, is a former Indian cricketer renowned for his contributions as a fast bowler. Over the course of his career, which spanned from 1991 to 2003, he played in 67 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 149 Test matches for the Indian national team. Srinath was instrumental in India's bowling attack during the 1990s and early 2000s, known for his ability to reverse swing the ball and maintain a consistent line and length.
Srinath made his Test debut against Australia in 1991 and quickly established himself as a key player. He was a part of the Indian squad in several World Cups, including the 1996 tournament, where India reached the semifinals. His career-best figures in Test cricket were 8 for 86 against England in 1996, showcasing his capability to perform at the highest level.
