Biography
Kyle Bigos, born on May 12, 1989, in Upland, California, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman known for his physical play and strong defensive capabilities. He began his junior career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Tri-City Americans, where he developed his skills and garnered attention from scouts due to his imposing presence on the ice. After his junior career, he was selected in the second round, 37th overall, by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
Bigos continued to progress through the ranks, spending parts of his professional career in various leagues including the American Hockey League (AHL) and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). He played for teams such as the Oklahoma City Barons and the Utah Grizzlies, showcasing his ability as a reliable defenseman and earning respect for his work ethic.
