Biography
Kyle Chipchura, born on February 19, 1986, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was selected by the Montreal Canadiens as the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Chipchura played as a center and became known for his strong two-way play, versatility, and leadership qualities throughout his career.
Chipchura made his NHL debut during the 2007-08 season with the Montreal Canadiens. Over his career, he played in a total of 265 NHL games across several teams, including the Anaheim Ducks, Phoenix Coyotes, and the New York Rangers, amassing 22 goals and 45 points. In addition to his time in the NHL, Chipchura also spent multiple seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) and was recognized for his contributions to team dynamics and locker room presence.
