Kyle Medvec is a former American professional ice hockey defenseman, born on June 16, 1988, in Chicago, Illinois. He played junior ice hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before attending the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he competed in NCAA Division I hockey. Medvec was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the fourth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, 102nd overall.
Throughout his career, Medvec played in various minor leagues, including the AHL and ECHL, where he showcased his defensive skills and physical play.
