Lance Nethery, born on June 28, 1957, in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his skill as a forward. He began his junior career with the New Westminster Bruins in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he gained attention for his scoring ability and physical play. Nethery was selected by the New York Rangers in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft and subsequently made his NHL debut during the 1979-80 season.
