Larisa Neiland, born on July 21, 1966, in Riga, Latvia, is a former professional tennis player who gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Competing under the Soviet Union flag before Latvia gained independence, Neiland turned professional in 1982 and made a significant impact on the women's tennis circuit.
