Larry Csonka, born on December 25, 1946, in Stow, Ohio, is a former professional American football player who gained prominence as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). A standout athlete at Syracuse University, Csonka was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 1968 NFL Draft.
