Larry Huras, born on July 8, 1955, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his influential career as a forward. Huras played junior hockey for the Niagara Falls Flyers and was selected by the New York Islanders in the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft. He made his NHL debut during the 1976-77 season and showcased his versatility and scoring ability.
Throughout his career, Huras played for various teams in the NHL, including the New York Islanders and the Kansas City Scouts. He is notable for his time in the World Hockey Association (WHA) with the Indianapolis Racers and the Quebec Nordiques, where he became known for his perseverance and leadership.
