Lee Corso, born on August 7, 1935, in Winchester, Indiana, is a former professional American football player and a prominent sports broadcaster. He played college football at Florida State University, where he was recognized for his skills as a linebacker. Corso was later drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1958 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of his professional career.
Corso played for the Rams for three seasons before moving to the Minnesota Vikings and then concluding his playing career with the Chicago Bears. Throughout his tenure in the NFL, he gained a reputation for his hard-hitting defensive play, contributing to his teams' successes during his time in the league. After retiring from professional football, Corso transitioned into coaching, serving as the head coach at the University of Louisville and later at Indiana University.
