Lee Roy Caffey, born on June 3, 1941, in Brownwood, Texas, was an accomplished American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL). He attended Texas A&M University, where he gained recognition for his strong defensive skills and athleticism. Caffey was selected in the second round of the 1963 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, where he began to establish himself as a prominent player.
