Lee Stempniak is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States, born on February 4, 1983, in West Seneca, New York. He was drafted in the fifth round, 148th overall, by the St. Louis Blues in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft after playing college hockey at Dartmouth College. Stempniak made his NHL debut with the Blues during the 2005-2006 season, quickly establishing himself as a skilled forward known for his offensive capabilities.
