Len Braund, born on October 18, 1875, in Falmouth, Cornwall, was a notable English cricketer renowned for his all-round capabilities. He made his first-class debut in 1896 and went on to represent teams such as Cornwall and the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Braund was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler, contributing significantly to the teams he played for during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Braund's international career with the England cricket team spanned from 1899 to 1908, during which he participated in 10 Test matches. He is particularly remembered for his pivotal role in the historic Ashes series, including performances that helped England secure a 5-0 victory against Australia in 1928.
