Leon Bright, born on May 19, 1955, in the United States, is a former professional American football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he distinguished himself as a dynamic athlete, setting multiple records during his college career. Bright was selected in the 3rd round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.
During his career, which spanned from 1977 to 1980, Bright played for the New Orleans Saints and the San Diego Chargers.
