Leon Lett, born on October 12, 1968, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a former professional American football player known for his career as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Lett played college football at the University of Iowa, where he garnered attention for his impressive skills on the field. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 1991 NFL Draft.
