Leslie Prentice (born November 30, 1886) was a prominent English cricketer, renowned for his skill as a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler. He played first-class cricket primarily for Kent County Cricket Club from 1905 to 1921, amassing over 4,000 runs and taking more than 150 wickets during his career. His proficiency with both bat and ball made him a significant asset to his team.
Prentice’s career was highlighted by his participation in several notable matches, including appearances in the prestigious County Championship. He achieved a personal best score of 157 runs in a single innings, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure. In addition to his county achievements, he also represented England at the international level, earning selection in Test matches during the early 1910s.
