Lev Yashin, born on October 22, 1929, in Moscow, Soviet Union, was a renowned ice hockey player, widely regarded as one of the greatest goalies in the history of the sport. He began his professional career in the late 1940s with Dynamo Moscow, where he would spend the entirety of his club career. Yashin's exceptional skills, acrobatic saves, and commanding presence on the ice quickly earned him national and international recognition.
