Élie Okobo, born on October 23, 1997, in Bordeaux, France, is a professional basketball player known for his skills as a point guard. He developed his foundational skills in the French basketball system, spending significant time with the youth team of INSEP, one of France's premier basketball academies. Okobo gained prominence during his time with ASVEL Basket in the French Jeep Elite league.
In 2018, Okobo declared for the NBA Draft and was selected by the Phoenix Suns as the 31st overall pick. During his rookie season, he showcased his potential with several notable performances, including a 32-point game against the Dallas Mavericks.
