Biography
Lincoln Kennedy, born on February 12, 1971, is a former professional American football player who played as an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). After a standout college football career at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was recognized for his remarkable athleticism and technique, Kennedy was selected in the first round of the 1993 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
Kennedy played for the New York Jets from 1993 to 1995 before being traded to the Oakland Raiders, where he achieved the majority of his success. During his time with the Raiders, he was named to the Pro Bowl twice (2000-2001) and played a key role in the team's success, including their appearance in Super Bowl XXXVII. His durability and skill on the offensive line contributed significantly to the Raiders' offensive prowess throughout his tenure.
After retiring from football in 2005, Kennedy transitioned to a career in broadcasting, providing commentary and analysis for various sports networks.
