Lito Sheppard, born on April 8, 1981, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a former professional American football cornerback. He played college football at the University of Florida, where he established himself as a standout defensive player, earning All-SEC honors. Sheppard was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of a successful career in the National Football League.
Throughout his nine-season career in the NFL, Sheppard was known for his exceptional coverage skills and playmaking ability. He earned Pro Bowl selections in 2004 and 2006, contributing to the Eagles' defense that reached Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005.
