Biography
Louis Ross (born August 31, 1947) is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football at the University of Southern California, Ross was selected in the later rounds of the 1969 NFL Draft. He played primarily for the New York Giants and the Minnesota Vikings throughout his career.
Ross made significant contributions to his teams during his tenure in the league, most notably during his years with the Vikings, where he was recognized for his speed and tackling ability. He was part of the Vikings squad that reached Super Bowl IV, although they ultimately fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.
