Luis Zendejas, born on October 22, 1961, in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is a former professional American football placekicker known for his contributions in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1980s and early 1990s. After moving to the United States, he played college football at the University of Arizona, where he showcased significant talent and earned attention for his kicking ability. Zendejas' performance in college led to his selection in the NFL, where he became one of the few Mexican-born players to participate at that level.
Zendejas began his NFL career in 1987 with the Los Angeles Rams, and he subsequently played for several teams, including the New Orleans Saints, the Washington Redskins, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
