Luke Kuechly, born on April 20, 1991, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a former professional American football linebacker who played for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL). He attended St. Xavier High School, where he garnered attention for his athletic performance before continuing his football career at Boston College. Kuechly earned consensus All-American honors and was awarded the Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker in 2011.
Drafted ninth overall by the Carolina Panthers in the 2012 NFL Draft, Kuechly quickly established himself as a key player in the franchise.
