Biography

Malcolm Nash is a former professional basketball player, best known for his remarkable high school career at the University of Lyon High School in Paris, France, where he first gained national attention. He earned All-American honors during his senior year in 1996, averaging 30 points and 12 rebounds per game, and subsequently led his team to a national championship. Nash's performance attracted the attention of several college programs in the United States.

In 1997, Nash embarked on his collegiate career at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played three seasons for the Bruins under head coach Steve Alford. During his tenure, he helped lead the team to two Pac-10 titles and was named to the All-Pac-10 First Team in 1999. His standout performance in the NCAA tournament further solidified his reputation, paving the way for him to enter the NBA Draft.

After being selected in the second round of the 2000 NBA Draft, Nash went on to play for several teams, including the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets.
