Madan Joshi, born on November 7, 1936, is a former Indian cricketer renowned for his contributions to the sport in the 1950s and 1960s. A right-handed batsman and an occasional off-spin bowler, Joshi made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh in 1955. Joshi represented India at the international level, earning his first Test cap in 1961 against the West Indies. He played a total of 20 Test matches for India, accumulating over 1,000 runs, with his highest score being 160 against New Zealand.
