Malcolm Jenkins, born on December 20, 1987, in East Orange, New Jersey, is a former professional American football player who played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He attended The Ohio State University, where he earned consensus All-American honors and helped lead the Buckeyes to the BCS National Championship Game in 2007. Jenkins was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft, where he quickly established himself as a reliable defensive player.
