Manu Vatuvei, born on March 4, 1986, in Auckland, New Zealand, is a former professional rugby league footballer known for his exceptional speed and powerful running style. Standing at 1.94 meters (6 ft 4 in) and weighing over 110 kilograms (240 lbs), he played primarily as a winger. Vatuvei made his National Rugby League (NRL) debut with the New Zealand Warriors in 2004, quickly establishing himself as a key player for the team.

Throughout his career with the Warriors, Vatuvei became one of the club’s most recognized players, amassing over 150 tries and earning several accolades, including the NRL's top try-scorer in 2010. His performance in the 2011 NRL Grand Final was particularly notable, contributing to the Warriors reaching the championship match. Vatuvei also represented New Zealand internationally, playing in multiple Rugby League World Cups and contributing to the Kiwis’ victory in the 2008 World Cup.
