Marc Methot is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman, born on June 21, 1985, in Cumberland, Ontario. He was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the sixth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, 168th overall. Methot made his NHL debut during the 2006-07 season and quickly established himself as a reliable defenceman known for his defensive acumen and physical play.
Throughout his career, Methot played for several NHL teams, including the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Ottawa Senators, and the Dallas Stars, accumulating over 600 regular-season games.
