Marc Savard is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada, born on July 17, 1977, in Ottawa, Ontario. He was drafted 91st overall by the New York Rangers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft and began his NHL career in 1999. Known for his exceptional playmaking abilities, Savard played for several teams throughout his career, including the Rangers, Calgary Flames, Atlanta Thrashers, and Boston Bruins.
Savard enjoyed significant success during his tenure with the Bruins, particularly in the 2008-2009 season when he garnered a career-high 88 points, finishing among the top scorers in the league.
