Marcel Dionne is a retired Canadian ice hockey player born on August 3, 1951, in Drummondville, Quebec. He began his professional career in the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1971 with the Detroit Red Wings, quickly establishing himself as a prolific scorer. Over 18 seasons in the NHL, Dionne played for the Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, and the New York Rangers, amassing a remarkable total of 731 goals and 1,040 assists, making him one of the highest-scoring players in the league's history.
Dionne is best known for his tenure with the Kings, where he became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer and earned his spot as a consistent offensive powerhouse.
