Marcus Arroyo, born on January 23, 1980, is a former American football quarterback and current football coach. After a successful high school career at the University of California, Berkeley, he played college football at San Jose State University, where he set several school records for passing efficiency. Arroyo went undrafted in the 2003 NFL Draft but signed with the Oakland Raiders, where he spent a brief period on the practice squad.
In addition to his time with the Raiders, Arroyo had brief stints with several other teams in the NFL, including the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, primarily as a backup quarterback.
