Marcus Lattimore, born on October 29, 1991, in Socastee, South Carolina, is a former American football running back renowned for his collegiate career at the University of South Carolina. During his time with the Gamecocks from 2010 to 2012, he established himself as one of the premier running backs in college football, amassing over 2,000 rushing yards and earning All-SEC honors in multiple seasons. Lattimore’s ability to break tackles and his powerful running style garnered national attention, positioning him as a top prospect heading into the NFL Draft.
Lattimore was selected in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
