Biography
Marcus Sörensen is a Swedish professional ice hockey player, born on April 7, 1992, in Stockholm, Sweden. He was drafted 97th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Sörensen began his professional career in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with AIK IF before moving to the North American league system.
Sörensen signed with the San Jose Sharks in 2016, where he played for the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda, before making the transition to the NHL. During his tenure with the Sharks, he established himself as a versatile forward known for his speed and scoring ability, contributing significantly to the team's playoff runs, including their trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 2016.
