Marek Olesinski is a professional basketball athlete from Poland, known for his exceptional skills as a forward. He was born on April 15, 1985, in Gdynia, Poland, where he began his basketball journey in local youth leagues. Olesinski gained prominence during his high school years, leading his team to the national championships and earning multiple MVP honors.
Olesinski played college basketball in the United States, attending the University of Kentucky, where he made a significant impact on the team during his tenure from 2003 to 2007. After graduating, he was drafted into the Polish Basketball League (PLK) and featured prominently for various clubs, including Trefl Sopot and Anwil Włocławek. His career highlights include winning the PLK championship in 2014 and earning a spot on the All-PLK Team in multiple seasons.
