Marián Hossa is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player, born on January 12, 1979, in Stará Ľubovňa, Slovakia. Hossa played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for several teams, including the Ottawa Senators, Atlanta Thrashers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings, and Chicago Blackhawks. Known for his exceptional two-way play, Hossa was recognized for his skilled offensive abilities and solid defensive contributions.
Throughout his NHL career, Hossa achieved significant milestones, including three Stanley Cup championships with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He was a consistently high performer, earning multiple All-Star selections and recognition as one of the league's top forwards.
