Marián Vajda, born on March 24, 1965, in Púchov, Slovakia, is a former professional tennis player and a prominent tennis coach. Vajda turned professional in 1982 and had a successful career on the ATP Tour, achieving a career-high singles ranking of No. 34 in February 1991. He was known for his strong serve and baseline play, competing in numerous Grand Slam tournaments throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Following his playing career, Vajda transitioned to coaching, gaining fame for his work with notable players, including Novak Djokovic.
