Mario Ledesma, born on May 17, 1973, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a former professional rugby union player who gained recognition as a prop. He made his international debut for the Argentina national team in 1996 and played a crucial role in the 1999 Rugby World Cup, where he helped the team achieve notable successes. Ledesma's strong scrummaging skills and leadership on the field established him as one of the most respected players in his position during his playing years.
Over the course of his career, Ledesma earned 84 caps for Argentina, representing his country in multiple Rugby World Cup tournaments, including the 2003 and 2007 editions.
