Marion Barber III, born on June 10, 1983, in Plymouth, Minnesota, was a professional American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) primarily for the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, where he gained recognition for his powerful running style and durability. Barber was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft.
During his time with the Cowboys from 2005 to 2010, Barber became known for his tenacity and ability to score touchdowns, earning two Pro Bowl selections in 2006 and 2007.
