Marion Bellamy, born on July 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois, is a former professional basketball athlete known for her outstanding skills as a forward. She played collegiate basketball at the University of North Carolina, where she was recognized as a consensus All-American and led her team to the NCAA Championship in 2006. Following her collegiate success, Bellamy was selected as the 10th overall pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
