Mark Bavaro, born on April 28, 1963, is a former professional American football player who gained prominence as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played the majority of his career with the New York Giants, being drafted in the fourth round of the 1985 NFL Draft after a successful collegiate career at Notre Dame.
