Mark Beavers is a retired professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on April 12, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, Beavers garnered attention for his scoring ability and athleticism during his college career at the University of Georgia, where he became a key player for the Bulldogs. He concluded his college tenure as one of the team's all-time leading scorers, earning All-SEC honors in his senior year.
Beavers was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. Throughout his six-season career in the NBA, he played for several teams, including the Raptors, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Denver Nuggets, averaging 12.4 points per game.
