Mark Hardy, born on February 1, 1959, in Pohenegamook, Quebec, is a retired Canadian ice hockey defenseman known for his notable career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted 8th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft, he made a significant impact in the league with his strong defensive play and ability to contribute offensively.
