Biography
Mark Lamb (born August 3, 1964) is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada. A center, Lamb was drafted 100th overall in the fourth round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He played a total of 264 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1983 to 1992, representing various teams including the Oilers, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Winnipeg Jets.
Throughout his career, Lamb established himself as a reliable two-way player known for his playmaking abilities and strong defensive skills. He contributed to the Edmonton Oilers during a successful era in the franchise's history, including their run to the Stanley Cup Championship in 1984. In addition to his NHL career, Lamb also played in various minor leagues, including the American Hockey League (AHL) and International Hockey League (IHL), where he continued to showcase his talents.
