Mark Meadors is a former professional basketball player who gained recognition during his collegiate career at the University of Kansas, where he played as a shooting guard from 1998 to 2002. Known for his exceptional shooting ability and tenacious defensive skills, Meadors helped lead the Jayhawks to multiple NCAA tournament appearances, culminating in a Final Four finish in 2002. His performance in college earned him All-Big 12 Team honors and established him as a prominent scorer in the conference.
Following his collegiate success, Meadors was selected in the second round of the 2002 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. He played two seasons in the NBA, splitting time between the Bulls and the Orlando Magic, where he averaged 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. After his time in the NBA, Meadors continued his professional career internationally, playing in various leagues across Europe, where he garnered respect for his versatility and work ethic.
