Mark Olver is a Canadian ice hockey player born on January 1, 1988, in Peterborough, Ontario. He played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Peterborough Petes, where he showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills. After his junior career, Olver was drafted in the fifth round, 140th overall, by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Olver made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Lake Erie Monsters during the 2009-2010 season.
