Mark Pinnie is a former professional basketball player known for his versatility on the court and exceptional scoring ability. Born on June 15, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, Pinnie gained recognition in high school as an elite shooting guard, ultimately earning a scholarship to play college basketball at the University of Southern California (USC), where he had a standout collegiate career.
During his time at USC, Pinnie set multiple school records, including career points scored and three-point shooting percentage. His performance in the NCAA tournament helped propel his team to consecutive Sweet 16 appearances, where he was named to the All-Tournament Team for his outstanding play. Pinnie declared for the NBA Draft following his junior year and was selected in the second round by the Miami Heat in 2014.
