Mark Rycroft, born on July 12, 1978, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his tenure as a forward. Rycroft played junior hockey for the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League (WHL) before being drafted 164th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. His professional career included stints in both the National Hockey League (NHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL), where he established himself as a reliable two-way player.
