Markus Phillips, born on March 21, 1999, is a Canadian ice hockey defenseman known for his strong two-way play and leadership qualities. He began his junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Brampton Battalion before being traded to the Owen Sound Attack, where he developed into a top-tier prospect. Phillips was selected in the fourth round, 118th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
